Tessie Pearl is designed to fill the gap that widows find in our current system.

It is a community bringing widows together to
learn, heal and grow together.

During my years as a private banker I had the opportunity to help many women at the death of their husbands. I found that most women were very capable and didn't want to turn money decisions over to someone else. They wanted to work confidently with their professionals but desired more knowledge to be able to articulate their wants to get their desired results. But there wasn't one place get the help they wanted and needed. This led to the creation of Tessie Pearl.

I am a financial professional and grief educator. I know that finances can be very daunting and add to that the confusion of grief and stress, nothing is easy. It is my desire to provide women a place to get their money questions answered and to get the support they need and deserve during this difficult time of their lives.

The name ‘Tessie Pearl’ was inspired by my grandmothers, Iva ‘Tessie’ and Agnes ‘Pearl’. They were widowed when I was young and most of my memories of them are without my grandfathers. It is with great love that I name this community after them. They were always a great example to me in moving forward in spite of life’s challenges.

Hello friends - for me grief struck at a young age. As a soul searching for healing, my path has taken me on a varied learning journey to discover who I am at my core, find confidence in authentic expression, understand my stress responses and how to expand my own resilience.
